I absolutely loved working with Katie and Ben! They are a sweet couple from Ohio who love dogs and raise fainting goats! Intimate weddings have a special place in my heart and it truly feels like an honor any time I am asked to capture one.
Small weddings can be the best of both worlds – you can be surrounded by a few friends and family and get portraits with them, while still having time to go explore and take photos! In addition, you can time it around beautiful light! I always like to think of my weddings and sessions like photo tours. We get to explore and get epic photos all while enjoying gorgeous parts of the park.
Ben and Katie kept not only their wedding, but also their engagement a secret for almost a year. It was really cute to see her Facetime her brother all dressed up – he had no idea! Katie’s dad was so very sweet and I think I cried every time he did! To see how proud and excited both of their parents where only made the day that much more sweet.
