Winter Wedding in Jackson Hole | Adventure Elopement Photographer

There is something about winter weddings in Jackson Hole that just screams dreamy and romantic. I love photographing Wyoming weddings with the snowy mountains in the background and if we are lucky, white flakes falling down. I wrote a blog last year on why you should get married in the winter, so I won’t repeat myself; I will however touch on one of my favorite winter weddings from the past season and why I fell in love with it.

Duane and Shannon were married on January 19, 2019 at the Hotel Terra Jackson Hole aka one of the most beautiful ski-in/ski-out mountain resorts in the U.S. – an amazing venue for winter weddings in Jackson Hole. Their beautiful winter ceremony was held on the roof of the hotel surrounded by a gorgeous, snowy vista. The emotion was so evident from not only the bride and groom, but all the attendees as well, evidenced by both tears and laughter!

I tried to pinpoint my favorite part of their day and I simply couldn’t choose. They really put their own touch on the whole day from doing their own flowers to bringing along their sweet dogs Max and Maia (you know how much I love dogs being featured in the wedding), to the dance down the aisle to a Hip Hop Medley Violin Cello Cover by Ember Trio.

The day of the wedding we did a winter photo session in Grand Teton National Park. The locations for family photos as well as the couple portraits were a stunning winter wonderland that will forever be engraved in my memory.
